Wood cut printer

After I cut my design from the wood I had to assemble it. I started off with tape to get a visual and to assemble easier. I also cut out the design of the building exterior from a cricut paper cutter.

designing final

We started designing our final with pen and paper after we finished the virtual simulation. We came up with a universal scale to provide uniformity. we used graphing paper to measure scale and then we put it into illustrator.

final start

for the final we had to create a art gallery using what we learned from our time in class. in the first step we concepted the building in tilt brush using virtual reality. we then 3 d printed figures to attend the gallery. last we laser cut wood to build a building to serve as a gallery

vr reality.

this week we designed buildings in a virtual reality space. we used tilt brush by google to paint inside virtual space and create structures.

these hands were 3d printed. I designed them in a software called sculptris. they were relatively life sized. they stood by themselves as well.
