Sculptris 3d print

Image
craft this week we changed 3d modeling software from tinker cad to sculptris. sculptris is a lot more free form and easier to make organic looking models. It starts you off with a ball of clay and from there you mold it to what you want. concept our task was to create a organic cool spirit animal type of thing that represents you. i chose to make hands that were alive and ever changing that felt sort of 4th dimensional. composition i made them to stand alone and be able to be easily placeable. they are about the size of an average persons hands and dont take up too much space.

print of city

craft this is the 3d printed version of my city block. it was made in tinker cad by combining, reshaping and resizing various blocks to create a theme park. concept the idea was that once printed, if everything was the correct measurements, this piece should fit with another piece like it. composition the city block had roads that connect with another city block. together they increase its structure and flow to make a city.

3D Print | Tinker Cad

this week our assigned groups switched over to a 3d printer. we could design models in 3d software and then print them out to a very accurate depiction. we used a software called tinker cad. this software was based on prebuilt figures to make a object craft i used pre built figures to build a sort of theme park. it featured a ferris wheel, a race track, a pyramid maze and a slide. concept i was tasked with designing a city block type of object. we measured out dimensions to make them compatible with our other group members pieces. we measured in increments that 1/8in = 1 story. i had a recreational zone which meant the buildings ranged from 1- 4 stories. composition all of the elements fit together in a square. this square represented the city block of a said city.
